This recognition is a retrospective inspection. Like the knowledge of riding a bicycle, we need to make the zuhanden state of pure skill a vorhanden object to discuss it. But imprisoned the zuhanden to the vorhande can get us no where, becuase the most important part of that knowledge is violently reduced and robbed and covered. I propose that through philosohpical hermeneutics, a zuhanden inspection can be achieved that allows us to pay attention to the activity that we are always already doing. This re-cognition is not without a Platonic undertone, for it is a revealing of the innate knowledge of our a priori structure that we all too often never pay attention to. But it is crucial for human beings to improve their activity by first paying attention to what they are doing. Take posture, the way we breath, the way we walk, and the way we sleep, for example, these activities are normal and all too normal.
